He has fixed it!

If a rose by any other name would still be a rose then take a look at this hardhat.

I'm used to wearing hardhats that are yellow, blue, and red. I never had an opportunity to wear the white one... I saw this Beauty the other day while in Altoona. The men working at a busy intersection were walking around with assertive ease. I looked... I looked again and then commented that wearing cowboy hats on a construction site isn't safe. It was also quite windy the day I took this photo. In an instant, one fellow turned and walked away and revealed the back of the hat had the adjustable helmet liner. There it was; a bonifide cowboy hardhat! Hmmm, I wonder if they make a hardhat that looks like a halo?

Made me think of the wonder and amazement people had in the presence of Jesus. Many thought of this wise person as nobody special. He is Joseph's son....the carpenter. It was tough for anyone to take Jesus serious. He was well known and dismissed all at the same time.

"All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s

son?” they asked. Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!

Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’ ” I tell you the truth,” he

continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown." (Luke 4:22-24, NIV)

To have been around divinity clothed in humanity must have been somewhat awkward for the experts in the Law and scriptures. If the prophecies of the Messiah were true, then how did Jesus fly under the radar of those in authority of the synagogue? Could they have missed Jesus' divinity because all they could see was his humanity?

Lately, the headlines have shouted that "God Can't Fix This!" Trust me when I say this, "God can and already has fixed this." Jesus Christ came to defeat the curse of sin and that is what God has fixed. The 'this' that plagues our world and causes people to commit murder and terroristic actions is SIN!

Jesus will return again. You can quote me on that too.

When Christ returns, a large number of people will face Him as Judge and it won't be a place you or I will want to be near. He will rule with Kingly authority. Yes, the son of Joseph the carpenter will decide the eternities of many evil folks. He is the same Jesus everyone doubted then and still doubt today. Don't doubt it. He has fixed it!!
