Life giving water

March 19, 2016

Water plus enclosed space plus heat plus cooling equals uniqueness.

The little green house kit I recently bought is currently incubating seeds of various kinds. I added water to the peat pots and waited. The pots expanded like small balloons being inflated. Mixing in a prime garden fertilizer, plugging seeds into the peat, and covering the tray completed my work. Then I waited.  Over the course of about ten minutes, moisture droplets began to form on the underside of the clear lid.  And now three days into the process, I took a magnified picture of the creative beauty in nature.  In time, I'll have to add water to this seed bed and the growing process will continue.

In our spiritual journey, there is a source of living water that never needs replenished.

"Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have

asked him and he would have given you living water.”  “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw

with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who

gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?” Jesus answered,

“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will

never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to

        eternal life.”   (John 4:10-14, NIV)

Imagine having an inexhaustable source of water. Imagine having an inexhaustable source of life.  If Christ Jesus is your Lord, then you have it. Enjoy!
